Jessica Bloodsworth
Founder & CEO
Originating from the Florida Panhandle, Jessica's first time living in Auburn, AL was during her Bachelor's of Chemistry program at Auburn University. Following her 8 years of honorable service and extensive experience in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer, she returned to The Loveliest Village on the Plains in 2021 to earn her Master's of Business Administration (MBA). During her MBA program, Jessica was diagnosed as being gluten sensitive and advised by her doctor to follow a gluten-free diet. She was, and continues to be, frustrated by the lack of credible, user-friendly, and inclusive mobile app options available to assist people like herself in their struggle to find restaurants and menu items that fit their dietary needs. And this is when MenuMatch was created! Founded in February 2023, MenuMatch set out to revolutionize the way people approach food and connect with others in the digital age, uniting people through the universal languages of food, community, and a healthy life.
Kristty Bondurant
Research Analyst
Kristty is a native of Panamá and speaks fluent Spanish and English. She has a background in Nutrition Science and Osteopathic Medicine with extensive clinical and research experience. She is currently in the Master's of Nutrition program at Auburn University where she will soon earn her credentials as a Registered Dietician (RD) and begin work on her PhD.
Merrell Bowden
Digital Marketing
Merrell hails from right here in Auburn, AL—the home of MenuMatch—where she has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Auburn University and 6 years of industry experience and certifications. She is also the CEO and Founder of Digital by MB, an Auburn-based marketing agency that specializes in startups.
Dr. John Tole, D.O.
Board Certified Allergist
Dr. Tole is East Alabama's only Board-Certified allergist and the owner of East AL Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology and HydraMed located in Auburn, AL. Dr. Tole began his journey in his hometown of Auburn, AL at Auburn University earning a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Immunology. He then moved on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Nova Southeastern University, completing his residency and serving as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at The University of Tennessee and follow-on fellowship in Asthma, Allergy, & Clinical Immunology at the University of Mississippi before moving back to Auburn to open his own practice.
